Dance Games on iOS in Costa Rica Q4 2023 Performance

The fourth quarter of 2023 presented an interesting landscape for dance game apps on the iOS platform in Costa Rica. Based on data from Sensor Tower, here's a detailed look at the performance of the top five dance game applications: Just Dance Now, Ice Skating Ballerina, Ballet Dancer Competition, Hip Hop Battle - Girls vs Boys, and Dance Clash: Ballet vs Hip Hop.

Just Dance Now from Ubisoft showed a significant upward trend in downloads, particularly in December. Downloads surged from 66K in the first week of December to a peak of 306K by the last week. Revenue also showed a notable increase, peaking at $144 in the final week of December. Weekly active users followed a similar trend, rising from 194K in early December to 445K by the end of the month.

Ice Skating Ballerina by Coco Play had minimal revenue activity, with occasional revenue not exceeding $1 throughout the quarter. Downloads remained almost non-existent until the last week of December, where it registered a single download.

Ballet Dancer Competition, also by Coco Play, showed minimal revenue activity, with a small peak of $8 in the first week of December. Downloads were non-existent throughout the quarter.

Hip Hop Battle - Girls vs Boys from Coco Play mirrored the trend of minimal activity, with no significant revenue or download numbers until the last week of December, which saw a single download.

Dance Clash: Ballet vs Hip Hop, another title by Coco Play, showed a slight pickup in download activity towards the end of the quarter, with 11 downloads in the last week of December. Weekly active users also saw a small number of 10 in the final week.
